The circuit was originally built in 1969 and has through the years undergone several refurbishments to become the epicentre of Austrian motorsport.
The track’s trademark feature is the ‘Bull of Spielberg’ which has its name from a local town in the Styria region. Interestingly, American film director Steven Spielberg inherited his last name from his 17th-century ancestors who lived there. The track is a total of 4.3 kilometres with the longest straight measuring 626 metres, ensuring sizzling action from the world’s top international riders.
If you are excited to explore more of Styria’s lush, mountainous countryside, then your time at the 2025 Austrian MotoGP is sure to be a delight for the traveller at heart.
